How long does it take to tube down the river?
From the north end of our campground to our beach, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour.

Do my kids need a life jacket if they are tubing?
They are not required by law, but if they are not strong swimmers, they should probably wear them. The river may be over their head in some places.

How deep is the river?
It varies from a few inches to 10-12 feet or more.

Is one area of the campground buggier than other areas.
No. If you forget to bring insect repellant we sell some in our store.

How long is the campground’s kayaking run?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer boat trips due to changes in the river that affect our ability to provide a consistent experience. However, the river remains excellent for boating for a good part of the summer, with trips typically lasting 4-5 hours. Additionally, the river is almost always ideal for tubing. We aim to ensure that every experience we offer is enjoyable and reliable, and we appreciate your understanding.

Can adults participate in the activities?
Of course! Our crafts and game times are primarily designed for kids, but adults are always encouraged to accompany the children and enjoy the experience. Additionally, we have evening activities for the entire family.

Do activities cost anything?
Most of our activities are completely free! For tie-dying, you’re welcome to bring your own white t-shirt or purchase one from our store. Occasionally, we offer special activities with a small fee, like our “sip & paint” events. When an activity does have a cost, it will be clearly noted on our activities calendar.

Do you still have large group fields?
Unfortunately, we are not currently offering our large group fields due to issues with noise and safety, as some groups did not adhere to the rules. However, if you have a larger group, we do have alternative options available. Please contact our reservations team to discuss your needs.

Do my kids need to wear a life jacket in the canoe and kayak?
Yes. Everyone under 18 must wear a life jacket and there must be a life jacket for each person in a boat. We recommend everyone wear a life jacket.

Is there an extra fee for pets?
No. We do, however, do require an updated rabies certificate that shows the vaccination dates. Tags do not offer this information. We also require that all pet owners follow our pet rules. They need to be on a leash and attended to at all times, and you do have to pick up after them of course.

Do you allow other pets?
We allow a reasonable number of well behaved & normally sized pets that are legally permitted in NH. . Remember you are in Bear Country
